Quirindi Care Services has been providing residential aged care. Our goal is to always have a four or five star rating for Eloura. Our residential service complies with the Australian Government Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality Standard and the industry Code of Conduct.

Applications for entry to Eloura start with completing and returning the enquiry form. Contact us via the link on the website or call in and see us to get an information pack.
Accommodation costs vary depending on location of room. Fees and charges are dependant on the payment of all or part of a resident accommodation deposit (RAD), an assessment by Services Australia on your assets and the basic daily care fee that all people who live in an aged care facility are required to pay. Rooms are large and spacious, enabling residents to furnish them with a number of personal furniture pieces and other personal effects. All rooms have large built in wardrobes, providing ample storage.
Both floors have access to large and small lounge/sitting rooms, includig flat screen television & DVD player and chapel. Large activies area available to all residents, Kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilties are available on both floors, to entertain visitors. Ground floor has a well appointed outdoor area for sitting or entertaining. Second has balcony area which can be utilsied for the same purpose.

Leisure & Lifestyle Team
Our leisure and lifestyle team share a passion for helping people get the most out of life by staying active, stimulated and connected. Our residents are provided with enriching lifestyle activities that encourage socialisation, but as always, we respect personal choice regarding participation in our programs.
There’s always something going on at Eloura to inspire our residents! Our dedicated team tailor individual and group lifestyle programs that meet residents’ interests, cater for a range of capabilities and encourage participation.
Classic table games like bingo and dominoes are always popular and a great excuse for residents to socialise. Likewise, a fantastic range of concerts and visiting performers is always on offer, and our arts and crafts classes cater for all ability levels. Other events held throughout the month include singalongs, cooking, movies, exercise and walking groups, pet therapy, pamper sessions, hand and foot rubs and happy hour.
Regular outings take our residents to social outings, as well as scenic drives throughout the Liverpool Plains. Our staff are always on the lookout for interesting venues to visit for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea, and if the weather is fine, we enjoy picnics in gardens and parks. You are able to have time away from Eloura to stay with family or friends.
The bright and homely design of Eloura allows residents to relax in a number of sitting areas on each floor, providing for entertainment and comfort in pleasant surrounds.

Our visiting physiotherapist is an important member of our team. They perform many tasks including pain management, rehabilitation, manual handling, and group exercise classes.

Our visiting Podiatrists provide basic foot care (including nail cutting/reduction, corn enucleation and callus debridement) Help choose appropriate footwear, monitor and address circulatory and sensation issues that may cause complications in residents with peripheral vascular disease and/or diabetes. They also might attend to lower-limb wounds and ulcers, diagnosis and treatment of lower-limb and foot musculoskeletal pathology to keep residents on their feet, aiming to prevent falls and maintain resident’s activity, especially ambulation.

Proper nutrition is essential for maintain good health and independence. We aim to prevent malnutrition that is often experienced within many age care facilities by having our visiting dietician regularly review our meals and menus to ensure they are nutritionally balanced. Often tailored meal plans are prepared for individual residents needs.

Our resident hairdresser Leanne visits on a Tuesday from 9am – 12pm and our residents are able to schedule in time to be pampered.
Other Services
At Eloura we have regular visits by our physiotherapist, podiatrist dietician and emotional support counsellor. Other services such as speech pathology, occupational therapy, wound care, dementia support and hearing services can be arranged as needed/required.
