Quirindi Care Services (QCS) invites community leaders to join its Board of Directors as a non-executive member to help shape the future of aged care in Quirindi. We are seeking expressions of interest from passionate individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of people who access aged care services.
Quirindi Care Services’ Board Chair, Mike Lomax, emphasised the significance of serving on the board at QCS, stating, “Being a Board Member at Quirindi Care Services is a position of immense responsibility and privilege. Our not-for-profit organisation operates the Eloura Aged Care facility, offering a multicultural environment where residents thrive. With tailored care plans, dedicated dementia support, and independent living options, it is our mission to ensure each resident feels at home, safe, and valued.
The Role:
As a Non-Executive Board Member, you will play a pivotal role in steering QCS towards a brighter future. Your expertise in leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement will guide our decision-making process. Through your attendance at monthly board meetings and contributing to committees, your commitment to excellence will drive our mission forward.
Essential Attributes:
A passion for enhancing the lives of older people
Strong leadership and strategic acumen
Commitment to collaboration and stakeholder relations
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and insolvency check
Desirable Attributes:
Knowledge of the Quirindi area and surrounds
Understanding of legal and financial governance principles
Understanding of residential aged care funding and governance
Previous board experience
